This weekend Minsk Hillel had a very special event devoted to Hanukkah 5772 called HanukIce.
We decided to try something new and as you probably have guessed from the name we have feasted the coming of Hanukkah at the ice rink in Minsk Arena.
Even a week before HanukIce it was clear that the event is going to be a success. The prepared ticket stock grew smaller so fast that it wasn’t an easy thing to get a ticket. It was especially nice that many people came to the event by whole families, which created warm atmosphere Hillel is famous for.
As far is HanukIce itself is concerned, here everyone could find something he would like, someone enjoyed all type of contests, others liked performance by professional figure skaters and singers. Those who were not very good at skating could ask professional coaches for help.
All participants could have some hot donuts and tea.
Preparation for Hanukkah was super, so probably Minsk Hillel is in for not a one HanukICE!
